Alma K (Kimmel) Carolen

Alma K Carolen, 85, of Youngwood, passed away on Friday October 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Walnut Ridge Memory Care in Greensburg, Pa.

She was born on June 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Walker and Mildred (Trice) Kimmel.

Alma previously worked for Mellon Bank in Greensburg, Pa. She was a devoted Evangelical Christian

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Ann King (Brent) of New Stanton; brothers Ronnie Kimmel (Martha) of Mt Pleasant, Gordan Kimmel (MaryAnn) of Greensburg and Maurice Kimmel (Helen) of Greensburg; sisters Joyce Myers of Hunker and Bonnie Musgrove (John) of Greensburg and a number of her beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Louis Guy Carolen on August 7, 2015 and her nephews Greg Myers and Kevin Kimmel.

Friends will be recieved at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. Tuesday, October 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

Services will be held in the Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 17 at 12;30 Pm. with Pastor Brian Swan officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her PCP of 18 years, Dr. Tatiana Leibu, the wonderful staff of AseraCare Hospice and Walnut Ridge Memory Care for providing loving, comforting care during Alma's final months battling dementia and to Ridgeview Residential Care for providing a welcoming home during the onset of the final stages of dementia.
