Ardith R. McGinnis

Ardith R. McGinnis, 90 years old of Scottdale, PA, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Amber House at Harmon House-Mt Pleasant.

She was born, November 9, 1927 in Mt Pleasant, Daughter of the late George W.  and  Sarah T. (Weidman) Rafferty.

She was a member of Third United Church of Christ-Greensburg where she played the piano, was a member of the Consistory,  and was the janitor of the church..

She retired from Brown Bavaria as a Registered Nurse.

Surviving are four children Patricia K. Trites-North Chesterfield VA, Virginia R. Pollono & husband Joseph-Youngwood, Judith G. Henderson-Scottdale, Ricky K. McGinnis & wife Laurie-S Greensburg 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a sister Betty Ullrich-Youngwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. McGinnis and  one grandchild, two sisters Stella Mae Whitehead and Doris Virginia Rafferty  a brother Warren Rafferty, and a son in law David Trites.

Friends will be received 11-1, Monday, April 2 at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, Inc., 101 South Fourth Street, Youngwood, PA.

Services will be held at C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, Inc., Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1:00 am with Rev Robert Garris officiating.

Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, PA.
