Arthur William Ramsay

Arthur W Ramsay, 69 years, of Alverton, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018 at Select Specialty in Excela Latrobe Hospital.

He was born on January 26, 1949 in Greensburg, the son of the late William and Betty (Nichols) Ramsay.

Arthur was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the Army.

Surviving are his son Matthew Ramsay of New Stanton; two brothers, Jim Ramsay of Greensburg and Dave Ramsay (Mary) of Hunker; his grandchildren, Kayden and Bradley; nieces, Sandy Trout and Sherri Trout; nephews, Clyde Trout and Rich Ramsay; cousins Harry Ramsay and Mary Ramsay; his girlfriend Larissa Eicher and his beloved dogs Cassie and Layla.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Ramsay.

Friends will be recieved on Thursday, Aug 30 from 4 to 7 PM at the C Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood.

Services will be held following visitation at 7 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Curt Detar officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
