Cora A. Shaffer

Cora A. Shaffer, 77 of Youngwood died Saturday January 5, 2019 in Redstone Highlands.  She was born May 8, 1941 in Yukon a daughter of the late Clarence and Cora Elizabeth (Ream) McKee. She is preceded in death by  her husband of 54 years Donald W. Shaffer.  Shes a member of New Stanton United Methodist Church.  She worked at the former Young's Red& White Grocery Store-Youngwood She is survived by five daughters Kim Shaffer Moore & husband Dave-Youngwood, Renee Shaffer-Newark NJ, Robin Shaffer Farruggia & husband Doug Unity Twp, June Shaffer Caramanna & husband James-Greensburg, Jodi Shaffer Cammarata & husband Robert-Greensburg, seven grandchildren Stephen, David, Nick, Jenna, Lexi, Hunter and Cody, two great grandchildren Stefan and Tyler, two sisters Lorretta Kalbaugh & husband Jerry-Greensburg and Peggy Labasky-Ruffsdale, a number of nieces and nephews. a sister in law Mary Lou Shaffer-Greensburg, a good friend Sue Cammarata-Greensburg, her wonderful church friends and her dog Lolly. Friends will be received  at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, Inc Youngwood, Monday January 7, 2019 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.  Additional viewing will be held at the New Stanton Methodist Church Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 9:30 am-10:00 am.  Services will be at 10:00 am at the New Stanton Methodist Church with Pastor Bonnie King officiating.  Interment to follow at Westmoreland Memorial Park.  Family suggest memorial contribution to New Stanton Methodist Church.
