Elwin Charles Collier, 104, of Youngwood, passed away on Thursday October 18, 2018 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg.
He was born on January 21, 1914 in Cromwell, OK, the son of the late John and Elzie (Smith) Collier.
Elwin retired as a steel worker from Allegheny Ludlum. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church of Youngwood, Immaculate Conception and was an Permite Deacon.
He is survived by his daughter Christina Greenaway of Baldwin, Pa; daughter Julie Matonic and husband Delbert of Orange County, Ca; daughter Karen Chickos and husban Jack of Cranbery Township, Pa; son John Collier of Youngwood;daughter Mary Trout and husband Peter of Youngwood; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Elwin was preceded in death by his brothers Doyle, Orvill and Raymond Collier and his sister Gladys Short.
