Martha A (Johnson) Poole

Martha A "Marty" Poole, 70, of Youngwood, passed away on Monday July 30, 2018 at home.

She was born December 5, 1947, in Xenia, Ohio. Daughter of the late Homer and Mary (Sibal) Johnson.

Marty's family was very important to her. She loved to spend time with her family, friends and her dog, Mackie. Marty had a passion to cook and bake.
She enjoyed watching cooking shows and making meals for her family. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was also a member of the VFW Post #211 and the Hempfield Hunt Club.

She is surrvived by her children, son Christopher Johnson (Carol)- Latrobe; daughter Donna Stairs (Kevin)- Greensburg; 
her lifelong companion Robert J Smith; Stepson David Poole (Martha)-Smithton. Marty was known as Mama to her loving grandchildren Zack, Jacob, Carleigh, Celsey and Lucas; her great-grandchild, Brady. A sister Linda Riley (William)- Mt Pleasant; a number of neices and nephews and her beloved dog Mackie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John Jack Poole. Her step-daughter Brenda Rekouche, brothers Thomas and Michael Johnson and a grand daughter Nora.

Friends will be received on Monday, Aug 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the C Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Aug 6 at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Curt Detar officiating
