Mary Christa Stevenson

Mary Christa (Chris) Stevenson of Youngwood formerly of New Stanton died peacefully but unexpectedly at her home on Monday, December 3rd, 2018. She was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on October 13th, 1953. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Stevenson and Mary Josephine (Foley) Stevenson. Chris graduated from Hempfield Area High School in 1971. Chris attended the University of Pittsburgh. She was a bank teller for Charleroi Federal Savings Bank for many, many years. She is survived by her three brothers, Bill Stevenson of Youngwood, Pa., Tom Stevenson and his wife, Emma, of Ruffs Dale, Pa. and John Stevenson and wife Barb of Greensburg, Pa. Chrissy is also survived by the loves of her life, her many nieces and nephews including: Jason Joseph and his wife, Leslie, of Youngwood, Pa. Billy Stevenson of Latrobe, Pa., Katie Bryner and her husband Chaz, of Ruffs Dale, Pa., Rachael Holloway and her husband, Josh, of Vandalia, Oh., Amanda Kinney and her husband, Mark, of Kettering, Oh., Lauren Stevenson of Charlotte, Nc, Taryn & Gregg Six of Greensburg, Pa., Madison & Bailey Bungard of Youngwood, Pa., Madison Stevenson of Pittsfield, Pa., Samuel & Ella Joseph of Youngwood, Pa., Isaac Bryner of Ruffs Dale, Pa., Sophia Holloway of Vandalia, Oh., Remi Kinney of Kettering, Oh and Jonathan Stevenson of Youngwood Pa. Friends will be received at the C Richard McCauley Funeral Home, 101 S 4th St, Youngwood, PA 15697 Friday, December 7th, 2018 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
