Russell P Stairs

Russell P. Stairs, 90 of Foxtown, died Sunday November 17, 2019 at Westmoreland Manor.  He was born October 8, 1929 in Foxtown a son of the late Russell P. & Sarah J. (McLean) Stairs Sr.  He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from DME of Youngwood.  He was a member of Ridge Runner Trailer club and the Good Sam Trailer Club. He is survived by his wife Frances R. (Knizner) Stairs, four children; Thomas E. Stairs-Hunker, Terry P. Stairs(Deborah)-Latrobe, Rita A. Flanders (Norman) N. Clarendon VT, Patrick M. Stairs (Maryanne) Stairs-Greensburg, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, a brother Bernard Stairs-Foxtown.  He is preceded in death by two sisters Catherine Wolk and Luella Stairs, and a brother James Stairs. Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc 101 S 4th St, Youngwood  Wednesday November 20, 2019 from 2:00 pm till 6:00 pm.  A funeral service will be held Thursday November 21, 2019 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Westmoreland Count Memorial Park where military funeral rites will be accorded by the Armbrust Veterans Assoc.
