Steve J Yuhouse, 83 years old of Youngwood, Pa, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
He was born January 26, 1935 in Carpenter Town, Pa. Son of the late Joseph and Rosalie (Seich) Yuhasz.
He was a member of Holy Cross Church- Youngwood, a Graduate of Hurst High School and served in the U.S. Army. Steve was also a hunter, fisherman and was an avid Pirate and Steeler fan and coached youth baseball for 27 years in the Youngwood area.
He retired as a Plater for Westinghouse/ Power X-Youngwood .
Surviving are his daughter Elizabeth A Joseph-Youngwood; daughter Sharon L Rosatti (Dan Schwartzbauer)- Allison Park; Son Steve J Yuhouse Jr.- Latrobe. Grandchildren Frank Zedek (Ashley Lutz)- Greensburg, Rachel Rosatti (Luke McCoy)- Erie, Jeremiah Yuhouse- Latrobe and Abby Yuhouse- Latrobe; His brothers Andrew Yuhouse- Mt Pleasant, Albert Yuhouse- Mt Pleasant and Julius Yuhouse- Hunker; a aunt Laverne Orbin-Youngwood; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette (Leasher) Yuhouse; his brothers Joseph, John and Louis; sisters Ethel Hileman and Margaret Yuhouse.
Friends will be received 6-8, Thursday, April 26 & 2-4 and 6-8, Friday, April 27 at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, Inc., 101 South Fourth Street, Youngwood, PA.
Services will be held at Holy Cross Church, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 am with Father William McGuirk officiating.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, PA where military funeral rites will be accorded by the Armbrust Veterans Assoc.
