Alice M (Summy) Martin

Alice M Martin, 88, of Youngwood, passed away on Tuesday April 19, 2022.

She was born on July 11, 1933, in New Stanton, the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Myers) Summy. 

Alice was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God. She retired after many years from Powerex. Alice enjoyed spending her time with her family and loved to sit on her porch with a cup of coffee in her hand.

She will be remembered by her loving family, her son, Bill & wife Sun (Shin) Martin; her daughter, Dotti (Martin) & husband, Frank Miscovich; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Martin & Jason Wood, Kristan (Miscovich) & husband, Bob Preston, Melissa (Martin) Aponte and Frank Miscovich; her beloved great grandchildren, Gabrielle Aponte, William Aponte and Avery Preston; her sisters, Jane (Summy) & husband James Myers of New Stanton and Nancy (Summy) Findley of Latrobe. Alice is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Summy) Cook; her brother-in-law, Ken Cook and brother-in-law, Robert Findley.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, from 10 am to 12 Noon with a service to follow in the C Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood.
