Anna R (Markle) Hoburn

Anna R Hoburn, 92, of Hunker, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 2, 2023. She was born on October 2, 1930, in Armbrust, the daughter of the late Edward and Pearl (Sweitzer) Markle. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Herbert Hoburn; her son, Paul Vernon Hoburn; her brothers, Billie, Paul, Francis (Gene), and George Markle; her sisters, Karla (Dolly) Markle, Wanda Debar, Donna Gail Serbanjak and Betty Nalepa. Anna is survived by her daughter, Roxanne (Benson) Hayes, their son, Benson Hayes III, and wife, Michaela, and their children, Dixie Rose and Benny. Her son, Thomas (Jeanne) Hoburn, with whom she made her home, and their daughter, Tahlyn and boyfriend, Patrick Snyder. Her daughter-in-law, Liz, and Jow Henderson; her granddaughter, Wendy (Wendell) Davis and their daughters, Anna and Julia; her grandson, Paul Henderson and wife, Kristy. Anna is also survived by her brother, Gilbert Markle; her sisters, Nancy Dilorretta and Rebecca (Sue) May and her husband, Fred. Her brother-in-law, Ronald (Patricia) Hoburn; sister-in-law, Lili Hoburn; her many nieces and nephews and her very special "baby" Murphy. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 5, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street. Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 11 AM., in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Excela Frick Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion.
