Barbara S (Nesbit) Guidas

Barbara S. Guidas, 85, of Hunker, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born Jan. 8, 1938, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Grace Nesbit. Barbara was a member of the New Stanton United Methodist Church. She also retired from the New Stanton Pharmacy after many years. She is survived by her children, Shelly Fair, and husband, Richard, of Butler, David Guidas, of Hunker, Daniel Guidas and girlfriend, Danielle Jordan, of Greensburg, and Mindi Guidas, of West Newton; and her five grandchildren and her friend of 60 years, Bonnie King, of Hunker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Guidas. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg for their care and compassion they gave to Barbara during her time there.
