Bertha L (Loughner) Kern

Bertha L Kern, 90, of Youngwood, passed away on Tuesday February 10, 2026. She was born on January 16, 1936, in Penn Twp, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Sarah Loughner. Bertha loved to spend time and take care of her family. She is survived by her children, Virginia O'Niel, and her husband, Daniel, of CT., Maryann Edge, of Scottdale, Donald Kern Jr., and his wife, Patricia, of Hunker, Susan Stokes, of Greensburg, Beth Kern, of Youngwood, and Tami Bossi, and her husband, John, of NC. Her beloved grandchildren, Daniel, Dana, Tricia, Brittany, Thomas, Brianne, Shaye, Sarah, Anita, Anthony, Kalin, Amanda, Ashlee, Ami, Jonas, Ronan, Quentin and Soren. Bertha is also survived by her twenty-seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kern; her son, Thomas Kern; her granddaughter, Christen Gerhard; and her 10 siblings.
