Charlotte L (Ansell) Rush

Charlotte L. Rush, 89, of Youngwood, passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022, at home. She was born on September 12, 1933, in Scullton, Pa., the daughter of the late Michael and Hazel (Shelley) Ansell. Charlotte was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church, Youngwood, a member of the Hempfield Garden Club and she also enjoyed going bowling. She worked for Irwin Automation and the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. Charlotte always took great care of her home and loved to spend time with her family. Charlotte will be remembered by her loving children, Michael C. Rush, and wife, Robin, of New Lexington, and Shelley K. Bononi, and husband, Bruce, of Greensburg; two grandsons, Jeremy Rush, of Orlando and Scott Rush, and wife, Elizabeth, of Rawlings, MD.; and two great-granddaughters, Victoria and Miranda. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James William (Bill) Rush and her grandson Shawn Michael. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 4-7 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 9:30-10:00 AM, with a service to follow, in the St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 126 N 4th St. Youngwood. Interment to follow in the Union Cemetery in New Centerville, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Youngwood. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Hospice for their wonderful care of mom in her final days. A special thank you is also extended to Donna Leonard and Daryll Lee Wells for their many hours spent with mom and their tender loving care given to her.
