Cheryl A Genard

Cheryl A Genard, 72, of Youngwood, passed away on Saturday November 27, 2021. She was born on June 5, 1949 in Mt Pleasant, the daughter of the late Michael and Betty (Pfeifer) Genard Jr. Cheryl was Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. She retired after many years, from West Penn Power. She is survived by her sister, Rebecca Genard of Youngwood; her brother, William Genard of Youngwood; her aunt Dorothy Pfeifer of Mt Pleasant; her aunt Margaret Fisher of Akron, Oh. and her numerous cousins. Visitation will be private. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 1, at 12 pm, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood. Everyone please go directly at church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Excela Home Hospice, 501 W. Otterman St. Greensburg, UPMC Hillman Center, Arnold Palmer Pavilion in Greensburg or to a charity of ones choice. The family extends a special thanks to Cheryl's caregivers, Dary Ann and Charity.
