Cheryl F (Bridges) Saldana

Cheryl F Saldana, 77, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1949, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Herman and Erma (Hamilton) Bridges. Cheryl was an accomplished Impressionist Artist. She also enjoyed flying small engine airplanes. Above all, she loved her family. She absolutely adored her sons and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Troy Mertz, and his wife, Julie, of Algonquin, IL. and Trever Mertz, and his wife, Patti, of Huntley, IL; and her beloved seven grandchildren. Cheryl is also survived by her siblings, Barry Bridges, and his wife, Betty, of South Carolina, Doug Bridges, of South Carolina, and Dale Bridges, of Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Bridges. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 7, from Noon - 1 PM., with a service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
