Clyde G Trout, 79, of Jeannette, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday June 25, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1945, in Mount Pleasant, he was the eighth of nine children born to the late Nelson and Margaret (Thomas) Trout. He was a lifelong and faithful member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. He was a Sunday School teacher and drove the church bus for over 20 years. His greatest loves were in this order: 1. His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2. The love of his life, his wife of 41 1/2 years, Dee. 3. His children and grandchildren. 4. His family members. 5. His church family. 6. Hunting. Clyde's laughter, stories and kindness were gifts to all who knew him. He retired from Ohiopyle State Park in 2013 where he was an Environmental Interpretive Technician. A fancy way of saying he did programs for campers and school groups of all ages. No one loved their job more than Clyde did. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Galen Trout, Joseph C. (Bonnie), Sally Anderson (Jim), Nelson (Pops) and Delores, Thomas (Rainbow) and Jackie, Rachel Tate (John), Meredith (Turtle) and Betty. He has one surviving brother, Terry L. (Toad) and Kelly Jo; and numerous nephews and nieces. He will be missed by his beloved wife, Dee (Denise); and his seven children and sixteen grandchildren. Daughter, Sherry Steel (Scott), and their son, Evangelist Cory Trout; son, Clyde Eric Trout; daughter, Sandy Metcalf, and her daughter, Amber Rasor (Kolby); son, David L. Trout (Autumn), and their children, Ryan, Wyatt, Symon, Lydia and Sylvia; daughter, Amanda L. Stauffer (Mark), and their children, Layla Trout and Troy Stauffer; daughter, Meagan M. Wilkinson (Eric), and their children, Dane, Abigail, and Maria Connelly; daughter, Casey R. Clausner (Evangelist Phil), and their children, Mataya, Andre, Cecelia and Kezia. As we bid farewell for now, we reflect on a life lived with purpose and faith and an abundance of love. His memory will be cherished and will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 27, from 5-8 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, from 10-11 Am, with a funeral service to follow, at the Hilltop Baptist Church, 280 Stone Church Road, Hunker. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Hilltop Baptist Church.
