Cynthia S. Rath-Obruba, 74, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday June 4, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1952, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Calvin and Evelyn (Wadsworth) Miller. Prior to retirement, Cynthia worked for Omnova Solutions. She was a volunteer and active in the United Way organization. She also enjoyed playing golf in the GNO league. Cynthia is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Obruba; her children, Patrick Obruba (Emmy), of Fairfax, VA., Corey Ann Shipley, of Spanish Fort, UT., and Amy Rath (Jonathan Stern), of Youngwood; her beloved grandchildren, Xander, Nathan, Victoria, Lydia and Luke. She is also survived by her siblings, Dean Miller (Carol), of Scottdale, Jennie Miller (Gary), of Ligonier, Kathy Fretts (Tim), of Scottdale, and Danny Miller (Lisa), of Vanderbilt. In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Rath and her daughter, Beth Obruba. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 8, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM., in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S. 4th Street, Youngwood. A feral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, at 11 AM. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Greenlick Cemetery.
