Cynthia A (Young) Watson

Cynthia A. (Young) Watson, 61, of Youngwood, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. She was born Dec. 15, 1959, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Thomas and Sara (Martin) Young. Cyndi was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Youngwood. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Thomas Jr., Theodore and Timothy Young. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Hannah Watson, of Youngwood; her brothers, Hal (Kellie), J.W. (Priscilla) and Chad (Jodessa); and her sisters, Cathy (Timothy), Carol (Steve), Sally (Chris), Sylvia, Jen (Chris) and Kaitlyn (Jason). She is also survived by her stepmom, Cathy; and her many nieces, nephews and cousins, whom she truly adored. Cyndi enjoyed many things, but spending time with her family was at the top of her list. She loved doing crafts, enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, listening to music and making others smile. Cyndi always had a heart of gold. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., with a memorial service to follow, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in the C. RICHARD MCCAULEY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 S. 4th St. Youngwood. The family extends a special thanks to Excela Hospice and the Blackburn Center.
