David A Miller

David A Miller, 83, of Youngwood, passed away on Monday November 1, 2021 He was born on February 4, 1938 in Greensburg, the son of the late James and Ruth (Wertz) Miller. David enjoyed playing in the Paintertown Dartball League and was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Youngwood. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and knew just about every word in all the songs. David loved to be outdoors and enjoyed watching the wildlife. He took great care of his tractor and enjoyed cutting grass at home and for the church. David was a part of the last graduating class of Youngwood High School in 1956. He always looked forward to going to lunch with his old classmates. Above all, David loved to spend time with his family, especially his beloved grand and great grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Patricia (Rogers) Miller; his sons, James Miller and wife, Lynne, of Greensburg, Jeffrey Miller and fiancee, Candi Yakubco, of Auburn and Darren Miller and wife, Jonna, of Youngwood; his grandchildren, Zachary Miller, Joelle Bryner (Neil), Jessica Yarnell (Evan) and Noah Miller; his great grandchildren, Isiah, Judah Bryner and a baby girl in waiting. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his siblings, Maurice Miller, F. Clifford Miller, Helen Eisaman, Catherine Miller, Ruth Veitch and Laura Mae Miller. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St., Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, from 10-11 am with a service to follow in the Christ United Methodist Church, 100 Lincoln St, Youngwood, with Pastor Paul Funk officiating.
