David W Mohar

David W Mohar, 57, of Southwest, passed away on Thursday September 23, 2021 He was born on May 30, 1964 in Jeannette, the son of Virginia (Spoonhoward) Mohar of Connellsville and the late Walter Mohar. Dave was the the proud owner and operator of Dave's Home Services and RAM Towing. He enjoyed racing his Corvettes and was a member of the Sports Car Club of America. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Donna (Showman) Mohar; his loving children, Rebecca Lynne Mohar (Jonathan Myers) of Youngwood and Adam Mohar (Brooke) of Acme; his granddaughter, Mia Mohar; his brother, Darren Mohar (Kathy) of Tennessee; sister, Lauren Mohar of Pleasant Gap; and his nephew, Tyler Mohar of Tennessee. Dave is also survived by his three Bernese Mountain Dogs, Diesel, Reno and Axel; and his grand dogs, Lucie and Chance. Friends will be recieved from 5-8 PM, on Wednesday, September 29, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM, on Thursday, September 30, in the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Sholtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Dialysis Clinic of Mt. Pleasant, The National Kidney Foundation or to St. Judes.
