David Ridenour Obituary

David G. Ridenour 92 of Hunker, died May 15, 2019 at home.  He was born December 27, 1926 in New Stanton, a son of the late Evans W and Carrie F(Smith) Ridenour.  He was a WWII US Army veteran.  He worked as a stone mason. He was a member of St Marks Church-New Stanton, VFW#211-Youngwood, the Armbrust Veterans Assoc, Hecla Sportsmens, L.O.O.M#23-Youngwood, and the Moose bowling league.  He is survived by a daughter Kathy J. Vargo & husband Bruce-Belle Vernon, four granddaughters Nicole Lee Collins (Carl), Sarah Fern Salopek (Kirk), Casey Lee Lang & husband Brian, Hannah Evans Ridenour, three great grandchildren Isaac Zogleman, Tanner Collins, Gavin Salopek two daughters in law MaryKay Ridenour and Judy Ridenour McKeta, two brothers William Ridenour-Orange County CA and Chas Ridenour and wife Chris-Hunker.  He is preceded in death by his wife Dolores J."Dolly" (Hout) Ridenour, two sons Terry L Ridenour and David A. Ridenour, and a sister PegO'Neal. Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc Saturday May 18, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Family suggests memorial contributions to Action for Animals Humane Society, 386 PA-217, Latrobe, PA 15650
