Dolores (Placey) Kenney

Dolores Kenney, 91, of Youngwood, passed away on Thursday July 29, 2021 She was born on September 10, 1929 in Youngwood, the daughter of the late Frank and Viola (Ruffo) Placey. Dolores was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Youngwood and retired as a beautician after many years. She is survived by her son-in-law Gary Ciarimboli of Greensburg; her beloved grandchildren, Kelsey Ciarimboli ESQ., and partner John, of Newport Beach, Ca., Cameron Ciarimboli, and fiancé Jessica, of Pittsburgh, Hope Kenney and Mitch Kenney, both of Irwin; her nephew, Carl Placey, of Louisiana; sisters-in-law, Judith Kenney and Marie Kenney and her brother-in-law, Bill Kenney. Dolores is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her loving children, her daughter, Kimberly Kenney-Ciarimboli; her son, Kevin Kenney; brothers, Victor and Eddy Placey; her sister, Helen Cunningham and brother-in-law, Norman Cunningham. There will be a private visitation for immediate family only from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 4, at 1 PM. in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood. Everyone is asked to go directly to church. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery. The family extends a special thanks to Redstone Hospice staff and to friends Tammy and Cindy for all of their care and compassion.
