Donald E Christner

Donald E Christner, 78, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday January 19, 2022. He was born on May 26, 1943, in Mount Pleasant, the son of the late Donald and Mayola (Stout) Christner. Donald was a proud Navy Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He retired as a machinist from Robertshaw Controls. He also drove for Advanced Auto. In his younger days, he enjoyed racing in motocross and drag racing. Donald also found happiness in boating, fishing and enjoyed his dogs and cats. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Catherine Trice, of Greensburg; his sisters-in-law, Gretchen "Jill" Peterson (Joe Boon), of Mount Pleasant, Wendy Hogue (Jay), of Greensburg and Lisa Boord (Charles "Pip"), of Greensburg. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judith (Armbrust) Christner; his son, Samuel Christner and his sister-in-law, Cynthia Lemke. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 2-4 p.m., in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood.
