Donna M (Morris) Porterfield

Donna M Porterfield, 88, of Youngwood, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was born on July 3, 1937, in Midway, the daughter of the late John and Stella Mae (Fox) Morris. Prior to retirement, Donna worked for Eat N Park, in New Stanton for many years. Donna was a graduate of Youngwood High School, where she was head majorette. She was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church in Greensburg, a member of Order of the Eastern Star, the Youngwood Women's Club and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at Hempfield Manor. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Porterfield, her siblings, Ida Mae Baker, Helen McGinnis, Viola Morris, Margaret Wilson, William Morris, Jack Morris, Ruth Love, Dorothy Boggs, Robert Morris, James Morris, Charles Morris, and Ronald Morris. Donna is survived by her loving family, her children, Jeffrey Porterfield, and his wife, Tamara, of Frederick, MD., Scott Porterfield, and his wife, Michele, of Malvern, Kelli Leone, and her husband, Toby, of Boonsboro, MD., and Karen Yawitz, and her husband, Michael, of New Stanton; her beloved grandchildren, Meaghan (Raul), Tanner (Maria), Tyler, Matthew (Lauren), Brent (Shadi), Tate, Alli, Alex, and Erica; and her great grandchildren, Adam and Addalyn. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Prinkey Clark, of Youngwood. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 3, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, at 10 AM, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
