Obituary

Doris L Shipley, 99, of Redstone Highlands in Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2022. She was born on October 13, 1922, in Youngwood, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Whitehead) Eisaman. Doris was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Greensburg. She was employed by the former Robertshaw Controls in Youngwood. Doris then moved to Massachusetts, with her late husband, where she was employed and retired from Texas Instruments in Attleboro, Mass. After retirement she and her husband moved back to Pa. and lived in Latrobe and Greensburg. She is survived by her niece Joan Nenortas and husband, Richard, of Surprise, AZ.; several other nieces and nephews; and her dear friends, Dwight and Anna Sarver. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James W. Shipley; her sisters, Anna Mae and Mary Lou; and her brothers, Chalmer (Ben) and Earl Eisaman. Per Doris' request, there will be no public visitation. There will be a committal service held at 11 am, Monday, May 16, in the Chapel at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, 150 East Side Dr. Greensburg.
