Edmund L Bellotti, 88, of New Stanton, passed away on Friday August 22, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1937, in Johnstown, the son of the late John Florendo and Mary (Greacher) Bellotti. Mr. Bellotti retired from Belle Vernon School District, where he worked as a teacher for many years. He was Catholic by Faith and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. He was also a member of the American Legion in West Newton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bellotti was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara (Conway) Bellotti; his daughter, Deanne Ferguson; and his sister, Shirley Berkley and his brother, Frank Bellotti. He is survived by his son, Gregory S. Bellotti, and his wife, Rina, of Irwin, and his beloved grandchildren, Anthony Bellotti, Matthew Ferguson and Nicholas Ferguson. Mr. Bellotti is also survived by his siblings, Mary Goiran, and her husband, Pierre, of Florida, Janet Babik, of Maryland, Larry Bellotti, of Bethlehem, and Romaine Nemchek, of Florida. A visitation for family and friends will be held on, Wednesday, August 27, from 4-7 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28, at 10 AM, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 711 Depot Street, Youngwood. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 3333 5th Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15213
