Emma (Hegedus) Malis

Emma Hegedus-Malis, age 90 of Holland, passed away July 7, 2021 at Resthaven Care Center in Holland, MI.

Emma was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Youngwood, PA where she lived for many years with her husband of 60 years Joseph A. Malis. The couple moved later in life to Holland and become members of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She loved quilting, gardening, and was a great cook.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph; siblings, Michael Hegedus, George Hegedus, Carolyn Szabo, and Jerome Hegedus.

She is survived by her son, Joseph A. (Barbara) Malis Jr., of Holland; daughter, Christine (Bruce) Beaufort, of Erie, PA; grandchildren, Joseph (Stephanie) Malis III, Rebecca (J. Galen) Stevens, Owen Beaufort, Adam Beaufort, great-grandchildren, Charles J. Malis, Eleanor E. Malis, and Jacqueline B. Stevens, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
