Francis P "Frank" Fochtman

Francis P "Frank" Fochtman, 82, of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday April 8, 2025. He was born on October 22, 1942, in Somerset, the son of the late George and the late Luella (Shroyer) Fochtman. Frank was a proud Veteran, having served in the US Army. Prior to retirement Frank worked for Volkswagen, Sony and Wilson Freight of Somerset. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, watching baseball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Varchetti) Fochtman; his children, Richard Fochtman, and his wife, Beth, of Pittsburgh, Mark Croner, of Greensburg, and Lorri Gavriel, of Hagerstown; his grandchildren, who he adored spending time with, Kacey Croner, Rylee Furstenberg, Asher Gavriel, and Hailey, Chelsey, and Sydney Fochtman. Frank is also survived by his sister, Margaret Fochtman, of Somerset. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Fochtman and his grandson, Logan Fochtman. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 19 from 12-2 PM, followed by a memorial service, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood.
