Frank W Kubicek, 88, of Youngwood, passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2025. He was born on September 9, 1937, in Greensburg, the son of the late Frank and Vivian (Shetler) Kubicek. Frank was proud to serve his Country in the National Guard for four years. Prior to retirement, Frank worked as a coal miner for many years. His last job was at the Daisytown Mine. He enjoyed listening to the old traditional country music and traditional Gospel music on Sunday's. His favorite instrument was the steel guitar. He was also a Life Member of the A&B Club in Youngwood. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Delores E. (Andrews) Kubicek; his brother, Robert Kubicek; his grandson, and his great grandchild. He is survived by his children, Carol Riddle (Terrence), of Hunker, Donna Fox, of Youngwood, James Kubicek (Tammy), of Youngwood, Paul Kubicek (Chris), of Greensburg, David Kubicek (Audra), of Ruffs Dale, John Kubicek (Joy), of Arona, and Susan Luce (David), of Darragh; his twelve grandchildren, and his eight great grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his brother, Edward Kubicek (Rita), of Latrobe. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 9, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the St Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Trauger.
