Fredrick A Kozer, 91, of Hunker, passed away on Sunday January 31, 2021
He was born on November 7, 1929 in Tarrs, the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Bushta) Kozer.
Mr. Kozer was a proud decorated Korean War Veteran where he served as a U.S. Marine. He was an active outdoorsman. He enjoyed taking his family on vacation to the beach every summer. He was known to have a soft spot for kids and animals. He was a voracious reader and a gifted story teller. Mr. Kozer was also a member of St Mark Lutheran Church, VFW Greensburg 33 and the American Legion in Mount Pleasant.
Fredrick is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Fay (Hower) Kozer; his children, Jennifer Kudrick and husband, Benjamin, of Hunker and Sarah Hansen and husband Matthew, of San Jose, CA.; his beloved grandchildren, Sarah Kudrick, Fredrick Kudrick, Benjamin Kudrick, Elliana Hansen and Jace Hansen.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter Devon; his brothers Robert and Paul "Willy" Kozer; his sisters Helen McGinnis, Jean Gilpin and Patricia McBeth.
