Gail "Thelma" Myers, 91, of New Stanton, passed away on Tuesday April 7, 2026. She was born on August 25, 1934, in Rocktown, the daughter of the late George and the late Verdie (Dodson) Gilpin. Gail enjoyed spending time and taking care of her beloved family and was a member of the New Stanton United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, James P. Myers, of New Stanton, Jackie G. Dusenbery and her husband, Brett, of New Stanton, Beth Noakes and her husband, Ken, of New Stanton and Julie A. Kimmick and her husband, Scott of Scottdale; her eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Gail is also survived by her sister, Judy Gaffney, of Ohio. In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Myers; her daughter, Debra Lynn Hafer; and her siblings, William "Billy" Gilpin, George Gilpin, Phillip Gilpin, Sylvia Liberty, and Margaret Jean Schaeffer. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 10, from 11 AM - 1 PM, with a service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. Interment will follow at the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Tarrs. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
