George J Soltis

George J. Soltis, 77 of Greensburg, died Friday September 15,2023 at RNC of Greater Pittsburgh.  He was born in Monessen October 27, 1945. A son of the late George B and Anne (Onefrey) Soltis.  He retired from Dlubak Specialty Glass of Blairsville.  He was a member of Holy Cross Church-Youngwood.  He enjoyed fishing and cheering on the Pirates, Pens and Steelers.He is survived by his wife Bernadette C. (Savarino) Soltis. Three children George M Soltis & wife Jill-Greensburg, Ronald S. Soltis-Champion, Amy L. Namie & husband Adam-Greensburg, four grandchildren Danielle, Haley, Sarah and Colin, a sister Rita Morton & husband Robert-Eightyfour PA.  He is preceded in death by a brother Bernard Soltis. Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc, Youngwood Monday September 18,2023 from 3pm to 7pm.  A funeral mass will be held Tuesday September 19,2023 at Holy Cross at 2:30pm.  Interment to follow at St Vincent Cemetery.  The family would like to thank all of George's doctors, nurses and caretakers for all their care over the years. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Assoc.
