Grace E. Shultz, 84, of New Stanton, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was born on April 30, 1938, in Lock Haven, the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary (Knepp) Walizer. Grace was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in New Stanton, where she was Director of the Choir and where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed Crossword Puzzles, Word Searches and watching the Game Show Network. She is survived by her loving children, Susan Orischak, and husband, Douglass, of Hunker, William Shultz, and wife, Brenda Lee, of Hunker, Franklin Shultz, of New Stanton and David Shultz, of New Stanton. Grace is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Orischak, William Shultz and Tiffany Orischak; and her beloved dog, Dusty and her best friend Bernice Barnhart. In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Shultz; her grandparents, who raised her, William and Missouri (Felker) Knepp; her brother, William Walizer, her half-brother, Ralph Walizer and her half-sister, Martha Weaver; her special aunts, Margaret Knepp-Bishop and Naomi G. Knepp. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, from 4-7 PM in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood A funeral service will be held on Wed, October 26, at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment to follow in the Youngwood Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to Medi Home Care and Medi Hospice of Scottdale for all of their care and compassion they gave.
