Gregory A Chain, 57, of Youngwood, passed away on Wednesday May 8, 2024. He was born on March 20, 1967, the son of the late John and Virginia (Graft) Chain. Greg worked for over 25 years in Emergency Medical Services as a EMT and a Paramedic. Most recently, he was employed by Keystone Automotive in Greensburg. Greg loved his family and numerous friends. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially going camping. Greg was a Jeep enthusiast. He loved to work on his Jeep, taking it off road and attending different types of Jeep events. Greg was also a social member of the Youngwood VFW Post 211. He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Laura (Macaulay) Scanio, of Youngwood; his daughter, Megan Driving-Hawk, and husband, Ben, of Arizona; his grandson James; his brother, John Michael Chain, and wife, Suzzie, of Scottdale; his nephew, Michael Chain, and wife, Krista and their son, Michael, of Scottdale. Greg is also survived by his numerous friends who were like family to him. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, from 4-7 PM in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood.
