H. "Dave" Elder

Harry "Dave" Elder, 76, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday June 13, 2024. He was born on December 30, 1947, in Greensburg, the son of the late Alfred and Edith (Eicher) Elder. Dave was a US Marine Corps veteran having served in Vietnam. He was also Life member of Midway St. Clair Fire Dept., a member of the American Legion in Greensburg, the S.N.P.J. in Carbon and the May Hollow Sportsmans. Dave is survived by his loving wife, Lorie Elder; his children, Corey Elder, and his wife, Shannon, of Columbus, and Shad Elder, and his wife, Renee, of Greensburg, and his four grandchildren, Bryson, Cameron, Brooke and Hannah. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his grandson, Zac; and his siblings, Edward, William, Harold, and Joseph Elder, Ruth Weis, Laura Seevers, Patricia Ahlborn and Sally Alcorn. A visitation for friends and family will be held on Sunday, June 16, from 3-7 pm in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment to follow in the Hillview Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Youngwood Lion's Club, 115 True Lane, New Stanton, Pa. 15672.
