Herbert Z. Stout

Herbert Z. Stout, 82 of New Stanton passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday May 26,2022 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital. He was born March 13, 1940 in Mt Pleasant. He was a son to the late Kenneth J and Alberta L(Hoburn) Stout. He served in the US Air Force stationed in Okinawa. He was the founder of Stouts Discount Carpet. He was a member of St Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hunker. He was a war history buff who loved his dogs and enjoyed casino trips with his son. He is survived by his wife Ruth E. (Murdock) Stout, two children Herbert Z. Stout Jr. and wife Debbie-Irwin, Tracey L. Melograne & husband Phil-McMurray, and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Pamela L Fetsko and a brother Larry B. Stout. Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc, Youngwood Monday May 30, 2022 from 4:00pm till 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home May 31, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St Johns Union Cemetery where military funeral rites will be accorded by the Armbrust Veteran Assoc.
