James (Jim) A. Curry, 77 of Greensburg, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 15th, 2026. Jim was born on January 13th, 1949 in Madison, PA. He was the son of the late Esta (Esther) and James Curry. Jim spent much of his professional career at PPG industries. He was a faithful member of Centerline Church, formerly Armbrust Wesleyan Church) for over 50 years and served in various roles. Jim enjoyed attending the summer concerts in St. Clair Park in Greensburg with his wife Vicky. Jim was also a member of the Westmoreland County Mall Walkers Club where he received several awards for his walking achievements. Jim greatly enjoyed crossword puzzles in his free time, and watching the Steelers and Pirates games. In addition to his loving wife Vicky, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Haynes; brothers Ed, Glenn, Clyde, and Ronald Curry. Jim is survived by his son Brad Curry, of Huntington, WV and daughter Mandy Curry, of Daytona Beach FL; grandchildren Maddox, Gabriel, Trevor, and Tanner; brother Mel (Cathy) Curry, and sister Joanne Robb. Special recognition to Sandy Blawas, who was honored to care for Jim, as her cousin Vicky had requested. Jim’s sense of humor and respectful nature will be missed by all. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday, January 16th, 2026, in the C Richard McCauley Funeral Home, 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held Saturday, January 17th, 2026, from 10:30 - 11:00am at Centerline Church, 7790 PA Route 819 Hunker. A service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Dan Mack officiating. Interment will be held after in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Centerline Church or The American Red Cross in Jim’s honor.
