James "Jimbo" M. Regina, 76, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. He was born on June 3, 1948, in Greensburg, the son of the late Andrew Regina and Mary (Hizer) Regina-Johnson. Jimbo loved to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers and was an avid Jeannette Jayhawk fan. Everybody who knew him, loved Jimbo. He always enjoyed a good meal, good company and was always the life of the party. Jimbo was a proud graduate of WCCC, where he obtained his associate's degree. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. He is survived by his siblings, Jennifer Trout, and her husband, John, of New Stanton, Beverly Simpson, of Greensburg and Joel Regina, and his wife, Pam, of Youngwood. Jim is also survived by his nephews, James (Angie), Joel (Jessica), Sean (Julie), Casey (Mary) and his niece, Laura Harrer and his many great nephews and nieces. Jimbo dearly loved all of his nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew P. Regina, his brother-in-law, Dennis Simpson and his stepfather, Theodore Johnson. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, Sept. 9, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 11 am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont. The family would like to thank the staff of Greene Health & Rehab Center, in Greensburg, for their attentiveness and kindness they gave to Jimbo during this difficult time, they truly became his extended family.
