John A Wilk

John A. Wilk, 60, of West Newton, passed away on Saturday January 15, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1961, in Greensburg, the son of Etta (Derr) Roderick of Youngwood and the late John Wilk. John worked as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Konchak (Steve), of North Huntington, his brothers, Dave Wilk (Kerri), of Forbes Road and Kevin Wilk (Debbie), of Greensburg; his nieces, Jennifer, Angie, Robin, Amber, Brandi and Tiffany; his nephews, Justin and Zach. John is also survived by his dog Bailey. In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Roderick; sister, Debbie Dainty; brother-in-law, John Dainty and niece, Toni Dainty. The family is planning a memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland Humane Society.
