Jonathan Andrew Donaldson

Jonathan “Jon” Andrew Donaldson’s journey on this Earth ended Friday morning, May 19, 2023, when he went home to be with the Lord.  Jon graduated from Hudson High School in 1995.  He went on to study his passion of culinary arts at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute; he worked as a chef and in the restaurant industry for many years.  He traveled extensively, experiencing the cuisine of many cultures and bringing skill and enjoyment to the industry.  Jon’s commitment to service and bringing quality to others led to his becoming a successful car salesman, a work he took pride in for the last 11 years.  As a child, Jon had a love for the outdoors, even going so far as to embark on his own adventure to the Grand Tetons the first opportunity he had.  He’s remembered for his laugh, the way he makes lasting connections, and his jovial personality.  Jon is survived by many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.  Visitation will be 1-3 pm, with a service to follow at 3 pm, Friday, May 26th, at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, Inc., Youngwood, PA 15697.  A graveside service will take place at 11 am Saturday, May 27th, at Lake View Cemetery, 12316 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106
