Joseph J McNaney

Joseph J McNaney Jr, 88, of Ruffsdale, passed away on Saturday December 25, 2021. He was born on August 26, 1933. in Baltimore, the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Koerner) McNaney Sr. Joseph was a proud Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany. He was a graduate of Penn State, where he obtained a degree in Forestry. He was an Eagle Scout and was also a registered Surveyor. Prior to retirement, Joseph worked as the superintendent of WP Dickerson Construction Company in Youngwood. He is survived by his children, Jospeh McNaney III, Christopher McNaney and wife, Lisa, Karen Wimberg, Diane McNaney, Robert McNaney and wife, Wendy and Jeffrey McNaney and wife, Kim; his 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas McNaney and wife, Joanne and his sister Kay CLair Rowell and husband, George. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Anne Hengeveld and his brother, James McNaney. Friends will be received on Thursday, Dec. 30, from 1:30-2 PM. with a memorial service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood.
