Joseph R Sostarich II

Joseph R Sostarich II, 85, of Yukon, passed away on Thursday June 24, 2021 He was born on September 9, 1935 in Lemont, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Volesko) Sostarich. In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his sister Eleanor Smarslok. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Martin) Sostarich of Yukon; his children, Michelle Watson (Edward), of Pottstown, Denise Trout (Clyde), of Jeannette and Renee Gensamer (Tim), of West Creek, NJ., Joseph Sostarich III (Christine), of Blakeslee and Lauren Copley (Jason) of New Stanton; his nine grand children and sixteen great grandchildren. Joseph was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Youngwood. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Chapter 8172. He was a former Grand Knight, member and president in Uniontown and Youngwood chapters. Joseph was a district manger for Thom McCan Shoes for over 25 years. He was also a sales manager for American General Insurance for over 20 years. Joseph and his wife, Carol spent over 40 years playing in their couples bowling league where he had many good times playing and enjoyed spending time with his vice president and best friend, Joe Sarnelli. Friends will be recieved on Monday, June 28, from 6-8 pm. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. There will be a Knights of Columbus in the funeral home at 6 pm. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, June 29, at 11 am in Holy Cross Church, with Father William McGuirk officiating.
