Judson Ray Bennett, 92, of Youngwood, February 10, 1929- February 24, 2021 Beloved husband of the late June Curry Bennett; dear partner of Mary Hudson; dear father of Marla Goodlin,Lori Jahn and the late William Bennett; dear grandfather of Kena Raygor (Scott), Lee Eicher (Megan), Robert Collins (Amanda) and Bryan Liegel (Christine); dear great grandfather of Emily Raygor, Lily Raygor, Destiny Collins, Xavina Collins, Nika Collins, Mia Liegel and Evie Liegel; dear son of the late Earl and Frances Bennett; dear brother of the late Edward (Jean) Bennett; dear brother in law of the late Marie Bickerstaff (Tony) and the late Maybell (Walter) Kelly; dear uncle and great uncle, cousin and friend to many. Ray was a U.S. Navy Veteran in the Korean War, he was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Youngwood, an active volunteer for many years to the Boy Scouts of America, Meals on Wheels and the Sewickley Creek Watershed. He was employed by several engineering firms in the Pittsburgh area, the Draug Corp. and retired from Mid-West Technical Service in St Albans, WV. He was a member of the Good Sam Chapter 13 Club and the HOBO Camping Club. He worked part time at D-A Auto Auction and PPI Services in Youngwood. Ray was also a proud volunteer for over 10 years at Stanwood Elementary School. Friends will be recieved on Friday, February 26, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood Services will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Bonnie King officiating. Masks must be worn and social distancing be maintained. There will be a limited number of people permitted in the funeral home at one time, so please limit your visit out of respect for others.
