June L (Loucks) Mathias

June L Mathias, 83, of Hunker, passed away on Thursday October 12, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1940, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Wayne and Blanche (Gaffney) Loucks. Prior to retirement, June worked at the former County Market and at Hepler's Hardware. She was a member of New Stanton United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed sewing and baking in her spare time. She is survived by her son, Patrick Mathias, of Mt. Pleasant and her grandchildren, Katrina and Kendra. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mathias and her sister, Phyllis Rady. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, Oct. 16, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the C Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Youngwood Cemetery.
