Katherine Zitkovich- Kovacs

Katherine (Zitkovich) Kovacs, 93, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday December 2, 2021 She was born on March 22, 1928 in Marguerite, the daughter of the late Marko and Theresa (Sporich) Zitkovich. Katherine had a love for all animals. She contributed to numerous animal shelters throughout her life. Katherine also lived in Los Angelas for a part of her life and retired as the personal secretary for Gene Wilder after 17 years. She is survived by her sister, Mary Zitkovich 0f Greensburg; her brother, John Zitkovich of Greensburg; her brother-in-law, Gene Hough of Smithton; her niece, Theresa Ghrist of Jeannette and her Goddaughter, Lorie Elder of Greensburg. Katherine was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Mike, Stephen Zitkovich and Ann Hough. She was also preceded in death by her best friend, Stella Righiro and her dog, Bonnie Bell.
