Lawrence K Burns

Lawrence K Burns, 88, of Tarrs, formerly of Youngwood, passed away on Saturday April 23, 2022.

He was born on January 30, 1934, in Youngwood, the son of the late Joackian Jr. and Edna (Dancer) Burns. 

Lawrence was a member of Mendon Baptist Church and retired from DME of Youngwood.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Sue Lynn of Ruffs Dale; his stepson Brian Mears and wife, Debbie, of Stuarts Draft, VA.; his twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Lawrence is also survived by his sister, Margaret Smith of Youngwood.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Norma Jean (Heckler) Burns; his son, Kevin Dean Burns and his sister, Mary Ann Lambie.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, from 10 am - 12 noon, with a service to follow, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th St. Youngwood.

Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
