Lois V (Cowan) Morgan

Lois V. Morgan, 90, formerly of Youngwood, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday April 16, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1934, in Scottdale, the daughter of the late David and Camille (Palmer) Cowan. Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, James E Morgan, her sister, Joan Nolan and her brother, William Cowan. She was a longtime member of the Christ Church of Youngwood. Lois's family were her pride and joy in life; she enjoyed all of her family gatherings. She is survived by her sons, James Morgan Jr., and his wife, Darla, David Morgan, and his wife Karen; her daughter, Sandra Stashick, and her husband, Randall; her grandson, Ryan Morgan (Stephanie) and her granddaughter, Morgan Martin (Stewart); her four great grandchildren, Oliver and Cameron Morgan and Stella and Sadie Martin. She is also survived by her three sisters, Nancy Gilchrist, Karen Balash and Marianna Trumbetta and her husband, Richard; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Mt. View Senior Living and Three Rivers Hospice for all of their care and compassion given to Lois. Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 18, from 5-7 PM, in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, from 9:30-10:30, with a service to follow in the funeral home. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Church of Youngwood, 100 Lincoln Street, Youngwood, Pa. 15697.
