Lorraine (Brooks) Howard

Lorrainne Howard, 94, of Greensburg, died Thursday, May 12, 2022, at home. She was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Robert and Blanche (Sparks) Brooks. She was a member of New Stanton Missionary Alliance Church. She worked as a secretary for W&L Construction. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne L. Howard; an infant child; a grandson staff sergeant, Scott Howard; a sister, Pauline Barbrow; and a brother, Robert Brooks. She is survived by six children, Terry W., Howard, of Greensburg, Joyce Ann Carr and husband, William, of Bedford, Donna Lynn Secosky and husband, Richard, of Hunker, Steven R. Howard and wife, Vicky, of Greensburg, Sherrie Lee Gerger and husband, Michael, of Jeannette, and Kelli Sue Hart and husband, William, of Hunker; 12 grandchildren, Tammy, Becky, Chad, Amber, Chanell, Jason, Jennifer, Nathan, Matthew, Jared, Shania and Mariah; and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at C. RICHARD MCCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC. There will be a funeral service at noon at the funeral home. Interment is to follow at Normalville Cemetery. The family would like to thank caregivers, Adrienne and Barb, and Excela Hospice staff, Carrie (RN) and Lori (CAN), for all their care. The family suggests memorial contribution to New Stanton Missionary Alliance Church.
