Madeline Kincaid Bissett, 99, of Greensburg, formerly of Meadow Bridge, Lewisburg and Beckley, WV., passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. She was born on December 21, 1924, in Meadow Bridge, WV, the daughter of the late George and Eva May (Walkup) Kincaid. Madeline was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Greensburg and retired from Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Beckley, WV, She is survived by her loving children, her son, David L Williams, and his wife, Laura, of Greensburg; her daughter, Michele Bissett; her stepson, Robert Patrick Bissett, and his wife, Connie, of Fruitland Park, FL.; her grandchildren, Molly Williams Huth, and her husband, Zach, of Greensburg, Kathryn Williams Courtney, and her husband, Tyler, of Greensburg and Benjamin Lee Williams, of Greensburg; her beloved great grandchildren, Leah Huth, Ivy Huth and Beau William Courtney. She is also survived by her sister, Jessie Cales, of Meadow Bridge, WV and her beloved nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonidas Williams, M.D.; her second husband, Joseph W. Bissett; her brothers, George Lewis Kincaid, James Garfield Kincaid and John Andrew Kincaid; and her sister, Minnie Pearl Kincaid. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 3, at 11 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Fairfield Drive, Greensburg. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Saint Anne Home and the Excela Hospice Care team for the kindness and care given to Madeline.
